Terms of Service
Last updated 21 May 2026
These terms govern your use of domifyr.com (the “Service”) operated by Domifyr Ltd (“Domifyr”, “we”).
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. For homeowners
- The Service is free for homeowners requesting quotes.
- Domifyr is a directory and lead-routing service. We do NOT contract to perform the work — the contract is between you and the tradesperson.
- We verify identity and insurance for verified tradespeople but don't guarantee the quality of work performed.
- Information about businesses (ratings, reviews, hours) is sourced from public Google Places data and may not always be accurate.
3. For tradespeople
- Listings on Domifyr are free. Pay-per-lead pricing applies only when you choose to respond to a quote (£8–£60 depending on trade category).
- Featured listing is a £75/month subscription with no minimum term — cancel any time. See /for-businesses.
- Tradespeople must hold valid public liability insurance and any legally-required certifications for the work they offer (e.g. Gas Safe for gas work).
- We may suspend or remove listings that violate UK consumer protection law, repeatedly fail to respond to leads, or receive consistent serious complaints.
- Featured listings displaying certifications must keep them current. Lapsed certifications must be removed within 14 days.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Submit fake quote requests.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the directory data without written permission.
- Impersonate other businesses or individuals.
- Post false or defamatory reviews.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
5. Intellectual property
Site code, design, and original content (excluding user-submitted material) is © Domifyr Ltd. Business listings reproduce publicly-available information. Reviews remain the property of their respective authors.
6. Limitation of liability
Domifyr provides the Service “as is”. We don't warrant uninterrupted availability and aren't liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is capped at £100 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where this cannot be limited by law.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Tradespeople with active Featured subscriptions retain service until the end of the paid period.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
